Things I love Thursdays
I love my boy's big feet. They are a constant challenge, and I love that they are larger than average. I don't really know why it's just fun. It's fun that he's taller than our almost 5 yr old neighbor. But what I love most about his feet are the cool shoes I get to put on him! I have been one of those Moms who puts the painfully difficult shoes on her kid because coolness is more important than the ease. The Chuck Taylor's I found at the A to Z Thrift Store round the corner have to be the best. They have become a lot rattier since I got them for him, and with summer around the corner they might get retired. At the ole A to z this Wednesday I found I a pair of Chuck's size 3. Since Jos will be busting out of his 10 1/2's and I love to stock pile the cool kicks, they came home with us. I dunno what it is about the A to Z, this is the 4th pair of Chuck's I've bought from them. Who could the supplier be? In Powder Springs no less?

Katie, When my kids were little I use to buy the cutest shoes and boots for them.My Daughter had a pair of these dark pink hiker boots she wore in Kindergarten and then i found her some black hiker boots in grade one or two I think. She's almost 16 and we're still looking at cool shoes together, we just did yesterday and she bought a pair of this med colored lime green sneakers, we found at Winners. The great thing is...now we take the same shoe size...I can borrow them and she borrows mine. :)
