Summer has been pretty, umm, boring so far. Mostly because I have no energy to do much. I see the light at the end of the tunnel though as week 12 of my third pregnancy approaches. I am enjoying the few plants I know how to grow, and I'm experimenting with a few others. I'm thinking of the art shows I have coming up and the tools I need for them. And planning planning for SCHOOL, already.....

Joel's My Man

Joel is training, training for Ragbrai coming up in July. He's recruited a few souls to ride with him. He's got the shoes, and the shorts and he's loving his new freedom to ride. Good thing, because I'm a slug and one of us needs to be energetic!

"I love being a NINJA! I find any stick that I can twirl around in my hand to nun-chuck whatever enemy I might find! On the couch! I'm starting to draw characters and animals. Mama is very excited. I don't do it when asked though. I'm a great helper getting dishes for meals and clothes for Eden. I love to help!"

Happy Happy Happy birthday to my only niece Joanna! I love you and am so taken by how different you look than my kids! Can't wait to see you trotting around at Christmas! You are like a hologram where you change from looking like your mom to looking like your dad in a split second! I was glad to hold you in your first weeks and I will be giggly to see you play with your red-head cousins. Good thing you got those big blues or no one would think we were related! Another Ward girl with blue eyes.
