Summer has been pretty, umm, boring so far. Mostly because I have no energy to do much. I see the light at the end of the tunnel though as week 12 of my third pregnancy approaches. I am enjoying the few plants I know how to grow, and I'm experimenting with a few others. I'm thinking of the art shows I have coming up and the tools I need for them. And planning planning for SCHOOL, already.....

Joel's My Man

Joel is training, training for Ragbrai coming up in July. He's recruited a few souls to ride with him. He's got the shoes, and the shorts and he's loving his new freedom to ride. Good thing, because I'm a slug and one of us needs to be energetic!

the new and familiar

I'm watching Ani Difranco on Conan and I forgot how nice her song Both Hands is. I still know most of the words. And she's a tiny tiny woman next to Conan!

And I'm recording our history now on the bedroom wall, and when we leave the landlord will come and paint over it all.
So long ago, so familiar.
